A Soft Eulogy; “Distant” by I Think I Need More Sun is Out Now

Marquette, MI’s I Think I Need More Sun's new single “Distant" – is out now!

Known for their warm, melodic arrangements and emotionally candid lyricism, the band has been steadily carving out a niche in the Midwest emo scene. “Distant” is a reflective and cathartic track that wrestles with themes of death, change, and personal growth.

“It’s an ode to a past version of myself,” says guitarist/vocalist Elijah Claucherty. “Someone who had to die so I could start again. The chorus became a chant for new beginnings – a reminder that life only felt simple before because I wasn’t really showing up for it.”

With its lush guitar work and atmospheric production, “Distant” captures the band’s signature blend of intimacy and expansiveness.
