F!GURES Get Swept Away on New Single “Triggerfish”

Central Texas emo band F!GURES just released their new single – “Triggerfish”!

Built around a sense of being swept away by change, “Triggerfish” wrestles with isolation, closure, and the things we cling to when life starts to feel unsteady. Images of flooding, drowning, and trying to stay grounded run throughout the track, pairing that emotional weight with energetic choruses and intricate, tappy guitar work.

“Triggerfish was one of those songs that started as a simple guitar riff that immediately got stuck in our heads,” the band shares. “The energetic chorus and the tappy riffs all came together pretty easily and early on in the process.”

The single marks the beginning of a new chapter for F!GURES and their first release with We’re Trying Records.
