Celebration Guns – “Maudolin”

Arizona indie-emo quartet Celebration Guns return with "Maudolin,” the latest single from their forthcoming album, What Keeps Us Coming Back, due out September 18 via We're Trying Records.

"Maudolin" marks the band's second song to prominently feature mandolin, revisiting the instrument first heard on "Move On" from their 2018 debut, (Probably) Worth It. The track explores restlessness, emotional apathy, and the loss of relationships and belief systems that once provided stability, while also reflecting on the complicated emotional effects of medication prescribed for mental health.

Since forming in Arizona in 2013, Celebration Guns have blended emo, indie rock, math rock, and alternative influences into a sound defined by bright guitar leads, infectious hooks, and heartfelt sincerity.

The release of "Maudolin" also launches vinyl, CD, and cassette pre-orders for What Keeps Us Coming Back, offering another glimpse into what promises to be the band's most emotionally resonant record yet.
