Guest Room Status – ‘Eventually?’

Ottawa-based indie-rock band Guest Room Status have returned with their new EP Eventually? – a six-song exploration of change, nostalgia, and the uneasy beauty of growing older.

Known for their blend of anthemic pop-punk and intimate midwest emo, Guest Room Status capture the feeling of watching life speed by faster than you can figure out what to do with it. On Eventually?, the band faces that tension head-on through propulsive riffs, frantic rhythms, and shout-along catharsis.

Highlights include “Losing Track,” a narrative pop-rock anthem about the fear that you’ve already had the best day of your life, and “Stall at the Start,” a restless reflection on wanting to move forward but feeling stuck in place.
