Jamurai Sack – “Field Sobriety Stressed”
Jamurai Sack first single with We're Trying Records – “Field Sobriety Stressed” – is upbeat yet heart-wrenching and is out now. The track captures the breaking point of a relationship – when you’re still fighting to fix things even as you start to let go.
“I tried to write a more upbeat song about a relationship falling apart,” says Greg Denner from the band. “It’s about the last part of fighting so hard to fix things, and the start of coming to terms with it – realizing you don’t want to feel the way you felt anymore. Sometimes things just aren’t worth fighting for.”
“Field Sobriety Stressed” channels frustration, reflection, and bittersweet clarity in equal measure and leads into the band's upcoming EP Anagapesis – out December 5. The EP is a front-to-back story of a relationship’s rise and fall. Named after the Greek word meaning falling out of love, the record explores lessons learned and wisdom gained through love lost.
