Philadelphia's Precious Little Life just released "Kirby Cola" // "Joppa Fallston" – two tracks that grapple with feeling like you're out of options, existential dread, and falling short of exceptions you set for yourself.

Precious Little Life reads like an emo band – named after the first installment of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim series, a catalogue boasting a number of references to Nintendo games, bit-crushed screams, and twinkly riffs, one could be forgiven for classifying them as such.

However, the band extends far beyond the borders of the genre, diving deep into unfathomably melodic noise pop. Fronted by Ivy Nenkov (she/they), the project has expanded beyond a bedroom-confined exercise in exploration to a fully-realized shape-shifting goliath of Philadelphia’s DIY underground.
