Muhnday – ‘Soft Collapse’ EP

Washington D.C. heavy emogaze band Muhnday return with their new EP Soft Collapse.

Soft Collapse, captures the feeling of unraveling in slow motion. Across the record, Muhnday explores emotional exhaustion, fractured identity, grief, self-destruction, and the quiet weight of trying to hold yourself together while everything around you begins to cave in. The EP moves between moments of fragile restraint and overwhelming catharsis, pairing lush shoegaze ambience with jagged post-hardcore Aggression.

At its core, Soft Collapse is about learning to exist within instability — the slow realization that survival and healing are rarely linear. Rather than offering resolution, the EP sits inside the discomfort, allowing vulnerability, anger, isolation, and hope to coexist all at once.

With Soft Collapse, Muhnday continues carving out their place within the modern alternative and heavy music landscape: emotionally devastating, sonically massive, and unapologetically human.
