Guest Room Status – “Losing Track”

Ottawa’s Guest Room Status are back with their new single “Losing Track” and the pre-order for their upcoming EP Eventually?.

Blending emo-tinged dual vocals, math rock–bright guitar lines, and a frantic yet melodic rhythm section, the track is a narrative pop-rock anthem about the fear that your best days are already behind you. Its rise-fall-(and rise again) structure mirrors the cycle of doubt and determination, making it equally suited for late-night drives or sweaty singalongs.

Formed in 2019, Guest Room Status have built a reputation for scrappy, urgent songwriting and cathartic live shows, earning nods from Exclaim! and Get Alternative while sharing stages with Bearings and Young Culture.

With Eventually?, the band deliver their most vulnerable and confident work yet – six songs that capture the fleeting momentum of young adulthood and turn it into nostalgia-plagued rock worth revisiting.
